TORAY REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANES

TORAY REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANES

Toray’s reverse osmosis elements use a cross-linked polyamide composite membrane manufactured under ISO-9001 certification, for high removal rates and exceptional durability. Toray’s low fouling RO membranes effectively treat feed water types with high fouling tendency, and offer one of the most reliable performances under challenging conditions. Ideal for wastewater treatment and water reuse applications.

  • Toray’s seawater RO (SWRO) can cut the operating cost by more than 25% compared to the previous seawater desalination technologies.
  • Toray’s Low Fouling RO (LFRO) prevents fouling by applying a hydrophilic coating on the membrane surface, enabling long-term stable operation.
  • Toray’s sanitary RO membrane elements (TRO-series and TMRO-series) incorporate a fully cross-linked aromatic polyamide composite membrane in a sanitary net wrapped design, for high rejection in dairy and food processing.

Toray’s RO membranes can be used for:

  • Brackish water
  • Seawater
  • Water with high fouling potential
  • Nanofiltration
  • Food, beverage and potable water
  • Residential applications
